Flatland inference

If women were more formidable, I believe that not only men, but everyone else would have respect for women. Maybe people would even feel intimidated by them \. I also infer that they  would have more roles in the community that they live in.

Timed Writing

A time when I was suffocating, was second semester of junior year. I had a lot of work to be done and there was a lot of things going on, both academically and personally. Something that saved me was spending time with friends because it would give me a break from my academic life.

So far I have completed 2 college essays and I think I've done good on both, however, I want to make revisions on the essay for the Common App.
My goals for college are to do good academically and actually graduate as a  Nurse. My reasons to go to college is to get a good job and be the first from my family to graduate college. My expectations for college are to enjoy my experience there while working hard.

Favorite book

My favorite book is in between Like Water for Chocolate and The Devil in the White City. I finished Like Water for Chocolate in two days. It was engaging and got me wondering what was going to happen next and that's why I couldn't put the book down. I also liked The Devil in the White City, but only the parts talking about the serial killer. They were true events that happen and it's shocking to know that people can get away with murder for so long before getting caught. That book took me a little longer to finish since it is pretty thick.

Self-Assessment

One of my strongest strengths that I will have with me in the practice ACT test is confidence. I like to talk myself through thinking that I am able to achieve any score I want. I also like to skim through the questions first to have an idea of what to focus on when reading passages. I believe that a way to be more focused on a test like the ACT are to have a good night of sleep and to eat a good breakfast.
The areas that are more challenging for me are grammar since I know I can improve more in that area. Also, I find it difficult when a question is worded in a way that is hard to understand.
